Set in spacious grounds this low-rise, five star hotel has no fewer than three outdoor pools with Balinese beds dotted around the pool-side terraces. White and neutral-coloured linens contrast with dark furnishings in the stylishly decorated and well-appointed guest bedrooms. The stone bathrooms are particularly spacious and incorporate a large bath with separate rain-shower and double basins. The lantern-lit outdoor lounge, with its big white sofas and low tables is a particular highlight of the hotel. There’s a choice of restaurants with excellent service, and exquisite, beautifully presented food in the gourmet restaurant; here the talented head chef introduces frequent new creations to the menu. Away from the dining table the hotel offers an intimate spa with steam room, sauna and Jacuzzi, which can be reserved on a private basis. A small fitness room features multi-gym equipment.
