    Explore Paphos

    Paphos is very much a town of two parts. Kato Pafos is the modern harbour area which has sprung up to cater for the tourist boom and offers a profusion of restaurants, bars and nightclubs. Ktima Pafos, has escaped many of the more recent developments and features colonial buildings and museums, some very fine restaurants and a sense of calm while everyday Cypriot life goes quietly about its business.

    There is also the shabby-chic, ancient Turkish quarter which is in a state of quite charming disarray. The Pafos Archeaological Site encapsulates the city's strong sense of history and includes the Tomb of Kings, the House of Dionysis and the Tempe of Aphrodite.
