The Nile is the world's longest river and a luxury cruise is the most relaxing way to discover Egypt's cultural landmarks and archaeological sites. We offer an eight day or five day cruise experience on the superbly elegant Sonesta St George which boasts sumptuous cabins and a fine range of luxurious amenities including spa and massage treatments and a sizeable on-deck swimming pool.
The eight day cruise begins in Luxor and highlights include the famed Valley of the Kings and Queens as well as the second largest temple in Egypt, the well preserved temple at Edfu, before reaching Aswan for a visit to the High Dam.
Additionally, scattered along the Nile, there are numerous small islands to visit including Kitchener's Island, home to the Botanical Gardens, before the return sailing to Luxor to see the Temples of Karnak and Luxor.

Overnight in Luxor. **Day 2** Tuesday Visit the West Bank, the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and Colossi of Memnon and sail to Esna. Overnight in Esna. **Day 3** Wednesday Sail to Edfu and visit Horus Temple before continuing to Kom Ombo. Overnight in Kom Ombo. **Day 4** Thursday Set sail for Aswan and visit the High Dam, the Temple of Philae and then lunch onboard and an afternoon felucca sail around Kitchener's Island, home to the Botanical Gardens. Overnight in Aswan. **Day 5** Friday A free day at leisure to discover Aswan. Overnight in Aswan. **Day 6** Saturday Sail to Kom Ombo and, after lunch, visit the Sobek and Haeroris Temple. Afternoon sail to Edfu, and then sail to Esna after dinner. Overnight in Esna. **Day 7** Sunday Sail to Luxor and visit Karnak and Luxor Temples on the East Bank. Overnight in Luxor. **Day 8** Monday Disembark 8am in Luxor.
