Depart Kruger for Johannesburg and flight to Cape Town in the afternoon. Be met on arrival at Cape Town. At leisure in the hotel. Stay at Protea Hotel Sea Point, for 3 nights.
Enjoy a tour of Cape Peninsula. Drive through Sea Point, Hout Bay and on to the southernmost tip, Cape Point. Return via Muizenberg, popular with surfers, before a visit to the Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden.
Explore Cape Town independently. There is Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden and Robben Island, where Nelson Mandela was imprisoned. This can only be visited on a guided tour and booking in advance is highly recommended. Visit Table Mountain or spend time on the beach.
Travel the Garden Route to Mossel Bay via St Lowry’s Pass. Cape Agulhas’ lighthouse denotes South Africa’s southernmost point. Mossel Bay is known for its blue flag beaches and seafood. Stay at Diaz Hotel & Resort, Mossel Bay for 1 night.
Head to Oudtshoorn, the ostrich capital of the world. Visit an ostrich farm, local wine estate and take a tour of Cango Caves. Stay at La Plume Guest House, for 1 night.
Travel to Knysna via Outeniqua Pass, and George Town. Arrive in Knysna, famous for oysters and its protected marine reserve. Take a ferry to Featherbed Nature Reserve. Stay at Rex Hotel, Knysna for 2 nights.
Visit the enchanting Garden of Eden, in the lush Knysna Forest, and see primates roaming freely at Monkeyland Primate Sanctuary. Enjoy the views from Knysna’s Eastern Head and the pretty seaside resort of Brenton on Sea.
Travel via Tsitsikamma Forest to Port Elizabeth airport for the flight back to Cape Town and then return flight to the UK.
