• Aerial view of Palm Island
  • Overview

Palm Island is a tropical oasis of silver-sand beaches and over 2,000 palm trees, from which the islands name is derived. Most of the island is private, only accessible to guests of the Palm Island Resort; Casuarina beach is the only area open to day-visitors, and with a laid-back beach bar, stunning white sands, and sapphire blue waters, it’s unsurprisingly a popular spot with the yachting crowd.

Three gorgeous reefs can be easily explored from the coast, and the nearby islets of Mopion and Punaise are also great for snorkelling. Guests can even take a day trip to Tobago Cays, which is renowned for offering some of the best snorkelling and diving in the whole Caribbean. On land, the nature trails that spread out across the island are a fantastic way to meet some of the local wildlife, including iguanas, hummingbirds, and hermit crabs. Whilst a walk up the small peak in the south of the island will provide beautiful views across the Grenadine Archipelago.
