Explore Jandia

The summit of Pico de la Zarza looks down at the Parque Natural de Jandia, which monopolises most of Fuerteventura's southwest peninsula, as rare and rich fauna and flora, and Egyptian vultures, need to be protected. The beach, beyond the confines of the park, is immense; an endless (well, not quite, but over 30km) expanse of white sand.

Modern hotels have sprung up to cater for the beach-lovers, wind-surfers and kite-surfers who arrive year after year. Neighbouring Morro Jable offers a degree of authenticity not found in Jandia, with some of Fuerteventura's finest fish restaurants huddled around the harbour of the old fishing village.
