The infinity pool is a relaxing place to spend some time set on a hillside at the top of the hotel and surrounded by forest offering panoramic views of the ocean. A small spa by the pool is a retreat offering massages and other treatments blending African and Asian influences. Massage oils used are bespoke to Fundu Lagoon, bringing together everything from local wood scents to exotic spices.

The beach offers more activity for those who want it. Scuba diving excursions are popular here thanks to an abundance of clear watered dive sites full of colourful marine life. It is also possible to rent kayaks and stand-up paddleboards.

Cuisine at Fundu Lagoon is focused on fresh, local ingredients with seafood at the heart of many menus. Food blends everything from African to European influences, while a weekly barbecue offers an opportunity to eat by the lapping water. Three bars provide plentiful drinking options at Fundu Lagoon too with the Jetty Bar over the water a firm favourite. On Sunday nights, the Jetty Bar is home to a traditional Swahili feast accompanied by music.
