Flight upgrades & services

On scheduled services, should you wish to upgrade from the economy cabin we can book business class seats. Where available, we can book priority boarding on no frills services and premium seating, drinks, meals and additional legroom on charter carriers. When possible, we will offer you the choice to pre-book in-flight meals, extra leg-room and pre-allocated seats, and additional luggage allowances.

Private transfers & car hire

Our holidays include private transfers from your destination airport to your chosen accommodation, so that you’ll arrive refreshed and ready to enjoy your holiday. In some destinations private transfers may be operated by public taxi or minibus, but they will always be for your own private use.

We can also book car hire for you. You may have your hire car delivered to your hotel or villa, or, should you prefer, you can collect your car at your arrival airport. Should you choose our recommended car hire for the whole duration of your holiday at the time of booking, you’ll benefit from a price reduction which equates to the cost of the private transfer that you’ll no longer require.

Airport hotels, parking & lounges

We feel that your holiday should start from the moment you leave home. VIP meet and greet airport services

Classic Collection Holidays and Ace Handling are delighted to assist your smooth passage through  airports in the UK and Ireland with our meet and greet airport services.  On your departure, arrival back, or in transit, a dedicated team of ACE handling staff can assist you with your luggage, whisk you through security and immigration procedures, scort you to your chosen departure lounge, and to and from your flight.

* Please note that VIP meet and greet services may not be available at all airports and it may take up to 24 hours to confirm availability at some regional airports. Airport charges

To cover the cost of development work, some airports charge an airport improvement fee which is payable within the relevant check-in area. At Norwich International Airport, for example, a development fee of £10 per person aged above 16 years, is payable.

Resort service

Our staff overseas love their resorts and will be delighted to share their considerable knowledge with you. Classic customers tend to be well-seasoned travellers who appreciate more discreet and unobtrusive resort services. We’ll endeavour to contact you at the start of your holiday to ensure that everything is to your liking. Should you need advice on places to visit, sights to see, places to dine, and wine, they’ll be delighted to give it.   You’ll also be given a 24 hour local contact number should you require additional assistance during your holiday. Owing to the diverse nature of some of our destinations, representation might be by telephone. In cases where we do not have a Classic Collection Holidays’ representative, we’ll provide you with the contact details of our local agent.

Before you go, you should seek up to date advice from the UK FCDO www.gov.uk about travel to, and within, your chosen destination, noting the importance of regularly checking for the latest information.
