We offer a choice of two luxury cruises with itineraries along the Nile, and are delighted to feature a small selection of the most intimate, elegant and sophisticated vessels. Some itineraries include embarkation at Luxor, a cruise to Aswan, then disembarkation in Luxor, or alternatively cruises can begin and end in Aswan or Esna.
As we tailor-make holidays to your specific requirements, we can easily offer two and three centre holidays.
For example you could fly to Cairo and spend a few days discovering the awe-inspiring Pyramids, the bewitching Sphinx and the Egyptian Museum, home to Tutankhamun’s treasures. Treat yourself to a stay at the iconic Mena House Hotel, lying in the shadows of the Great Pyramids.
After the hustle and bustle of Cairo and Luxor, join the elegant and luxurious Oberoi Zahra cruise ship for an 8 day (7 night) cruise. The Oberoi Zahra cruise ship departs from Luxor on Tuesdays and arrives in Aswan the following Tuesday. After the 8 day cruise fly back to Cairo and spend the last night at the five star Cairo Marriott & Omar Khayyam Casino before your flight back home.
You may wish to go on a shorter Nile cruise and it is easy for us to tailor-make a holiday including a 4 day (3 night) cruise. We can book flights either direct to Luxor or via Cairo and then book your chosen cruise from Luxor.
For example, you could fly to Luxor for a two night stay at the five star Maritim Jolie Ville Kings Island Luxor, set in a unique and exclusive location on its own private island, before boarding the Sonesta St George cruise ship in Aswan, offering a range of excellent facilities including a spa area and a sizeable outdoor pool.
After the four day cruise, spend the final two nights at the grandiose Sofitel Luxor Winter Palace, set amidst beautiful lush and immaculately kept tropical gardens, before the flight home.
Smart casual attire is recommended in the evenings whilst informal clothing is suitable for daytime. For special events, suits and cocktail dresses are the best choice. For land excursions visitors should dress conservatively, with cotton clothes for summertime, and light jackets for winter: comfortable shoes are essential.
