Located in the ancient Sasso Caveoso area of the UNESCO World Heritage site of Matera, Relais la Casa di Lucio occupies a restored 17th century residence where the original structure has been beautifully preserved, harmoniously decorated and complemented by modern comforts.

Located in typical cave dwellings with their own entrance the seven individual guest rooms and suites are furnished in a simple, yet stylishly elegant fashion, with careful attention paid to detail.

The relais shares its reception, restaurant and lounge terrace with its sister property Sant'Angelo Resort with the elegant cave-restaurant Regia Corte presenting sublime, reinterpreted local dishes created from the freshest organic produce. Tea and pastries can be enjoyed each afternoon and a plentiful buffet breakfast of hot and cold dishes is served each morning.
