Modern facilities behind a Belle Epoque façade
On the north shore of Lake Geneva in the very heart of Montreux, Grand Hotel Suisse- Majestic was built in 1870 and completely renovated in 2010.
It enjoys fabulous panoramic views and is an ideal starting point for walks along the promenade and boat excursions on the lake.
Comfortable guest rooms and suites are attractively furnished in a classically elegant style and lake facing rooms are highly recommended.
The light filled restaurant with panoramic outdoor terrace overlooking the lake and the surrounding Alps serves market fresh, seasonal cuisine and the lounge bar is a lovely spot for cocktails and once a week is the setting for wine tastings by regional producers.
Facilities also include a spa with sauna and a workout room. The surrounding area is home to several castles, vineyards and located opposite the train station, the hotel is handy for the panoramic train to Gstaad and the famous Chocolate train to the Cailler-Nestle chocolate factory at Broc.
Not all facilities are complimentary and are subject to seasonal demand.
